So, my water-only fast is going rather well.
I had a feeling it would, but I didn’t expect it to be this easy.
I can certainly feel how active and clear my thoughts and brain are.
Yesterday saw me not needing much sleep at night. Hence I was awake for around twenty hours. I finally went to bed at 6:30 AM this morning. And I had a great sleep until noon.
I’m not hungry even slightly. It’s weird to open my fridge and only see bottles of sparkling water. No food at all in evidence. Hence, no temptation.
It will seem odd when Monday dawns, and that is the seventh day of the water fast. Could I take it further? Most likely, yes, but I won’t.
I’ll be following a very low-calorie diet from then on – around 500 calories per day – so I want to get into that zone of weight loss and build on this fast with a keto-type of diet.
I intend to do the water fast again. Possibly two more times before I stop dieting.
But for now, I’m looking forward to reaching day five and the weekend.
I’ll see what stage my new home build is at tomorrow, Saturday.
